A PEONY RESCUED (via magda.indigo)
Walking down West Broadway yesterday, I was thirsty for a peony feast.
As always, I’m rushing things and must cutivate patience. Peonies won’t come to New York until late May.
This photo is so realistic, I thought it was a Flemish botanical print at first.
It should be no surprise that peonies are my three favorite flowers, sharing the limelight with lilies and orchids.  Erotic flowers are such a delight to our senses.
Googling “peonies+aphrodisiac”, to explore a connection, this web page, The Language of Flowers, says that peony means aphrodisiac. To me the connection is obvioius. How about you? Anne
